Local sports programs are reaping success.


After the success of sports programs for men, there came the sports for women as Mayor RICO C. RENTUZA , thru the office LGU-Sports, launched the 1st Mayor’s Cup Womens Volleyball Tournament and participated by eight teams from different Barangays, the tournament was lasted for two months and the team from barangay Malibago Volleybelles won via come-from-behind victory against the tough barangay Hindag-an Angels.

It was the sweetest moments according to all teams that they were given the chance to play their own field of sports, thanks to our beloved Mayor.

As of this writing, yours truly and the Tambis National High School Taekwondo Club will conduct Sports Clinic for Taekwondo, in order to develop young and talented people in our town to know more about this sport, in which we believe Filipinos can compete abroad and in the most prestigious of all, Olympics.

To all our people in Saint Bernard, especially those who love sports, Please support all our sports program and I promise to give you, with the help of our Own Sports minded mayor, that sports in Saint Bernard will be very ALIVE!
