OFFICE PROFILE:
Summary of the Role of your department relevant to the over-all function of the LGU.
The office of the Human Resource Management Officer as mandated by the Civil Service Commission through the Omnibus Rules Implementing Book V of Executive Order # 292 and other pertinent Civil Service Laws to review thoroughly and check the completeness of all requirements and supporting documents in all cases of appointments and other personnel actions before submission to the Civil Service Commission. He is also charged that all appointments and promotions must be based on merit and fitness.
The office also looked into the welfare of the employees; their working conditions, benefits and facilitates their promotions and the advancement of their carrier and assists in the processing of retirements of appointive and elective officials in accordance to the guidelines set by the Civil Service Commission.

Initiated the giving of Loyalty Awards.
Indorses the implementations of other awards, recognitions and citations to outstanding employees.
