Overview

The town has many potential tourist spots in general. Its geographic position is very appropriate to call a tourist destination with vast coastline and scenic mountain ranges. From the famous Hindag-an Cave and Sangat Beach to the beautiful Tinago Spring in Brgy. Ayahag. Lipanto Natural Aquarium, and the Mahayag eco-tourism are also a great potential for the tourism industry.

Another tourist attraction of St. Bernard is the Hinabian Dam. This is the old dam that produces the electric power of the town. Recently, the new administration has their sights on Brgy. Guinsaugon. The place of the tragedy that struck the entire village last Feb. 17, 2006, will be converted into a tourist spot. The town itself gained instant recognition around the world because of the tragedy.

Today, a giant cross was erected on the village to commemorate the incident and to the bodies who were never recovered in the area.
